Scrap and Yap! Junk Journaling Class

Scrap and Yap! Junk Journaling Class

A junk journal is a handmade book crafted from recycled, found, or "junk" materials—such as old book pages, maps, envelopes, and packaging—used to document memories, store keepsakes, or create art. It serves as a personalized, artistic, and often vintage-style repository for ephemera (tickets, notes) and creative expression.

Beginning and experienced journalers are welcome in this journaling class. Cheri Cicio will guide you through designing your journal pages. You’ll be provided with scrapbook paper, vintage book pages, stickers and other paper items that you’ll use to make a 2 page “spread.” Students will also learn to make a paper cart flower or ribbon to use in their journal or on a gift bag. Bring your own journal or Cheri will supply one for you. So bring anything you’d like to add or just come as you are, we’ve got you covered!
